Season Two of The Road To Rock Podcast starts here with Ricky Warwick from Black Star Riders!

Ricky has an impressive musical CV under his belt from his time in New Model Army and The Almighty to his solo work and Ricky Warwick and The Fighting Hearts.

In 2010 Ricky got the call to front legendary rock band Thin Lizzy when then led on to the formation of Black Star Riders in 2012.

In the run up to St Patricks day 2021 I caught up with Ricky to talk about what happened when he got the call to join Thin Lizzy, the work that’s gone into his new album ‘When Life Was Hard And Fast’, and about his longstanding friendship with Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott.
